A Wayne County man is being charged with murder after deputies found his wife’s body locked in the trunk of a car in Prichard. Marcella Herald was reported missing on Tuesday by a family member who said she hadn’t been seen since September 11th. Officers got a search warrant for her home and found a strong odor coming from a Pontiac GTO and discovered her body. Donald Herald says he hit her during an argument, but doesn’t remember anything else until he woke up the next morning and round her not breathing.
