West Virginia University Health System announced it is moving its vaccine mandate for employees from Oct. 31 to Jan. 21, 2022. WVU Health System joins Charleston Area Medical Center in making announcements about deadline extensions on vaccine mandates. CAMC previously said it was extending its mandate from Oct. 15 to Nov. 6. Health system officials said they also expect in the next few weeks that federal officials will issue regulations that require all health care providers and employers with more than 100 employees to vaccinate their employees.
