Convenience Store is Closed for Repairs After Vehicle Crashes Into It

No one was injured after a car crashed into a convenience store in Charleston on Saturday. An SUV partially crashed through the front windows of an Exxon in the 1600 block of Washington Street East, and Charleston police said a woman accidentally pressed the gas instead of the brake to cause the accident. There were employees in the store at the time, but no injuries were reported. The store is expected to be closed until repairs can be made.
