COVID-19 numbers took a big jump this week. More than one-thousand new cases have been reported over each of the last two days, bringing the total number of active cases to over seven-thousand. More than twenty counties are red on the COVID alert map. Governor Justice is once again stressing the importance of getting a booster shot. The Food and Drug Administration had endorsed Pfizer or Moderna booster shots for anyone 18 or older six months after their last dose, regardless of which vaccine you had first. The CDC has also signed off on booster shots.
