Gun buck season got underway on Monday in West Virginia. You have to be fully licensed to hunt, although some landowners are exempt if they are hunting on their own property. In the firearm season, you can take up to two bucks if you have the proper licenses. There is a mandatory check as well, and you can check your deer online, phone or a check station. Buck firearms season runs until Dec. 5.
