Marshall University hosted a workshop for Girl Scouts on Saturday. The event was part of the Girl Scout Badge College and the scouts were able to select two workshops to participate in with a chance to earn two badges. U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., who is co-chair of the Girl Scouts’ Honorary Troop Capitol Hill was on hand to share the importance of the Girl Scouts. Badges offered during the event included business owner, animal helpers, financing my dreams, truth seeker, savvy shopper, entrepreneur, public speaker and public innovator.
