COVID-19 case double since Thanksgiving

West Virginia’s COVID-19 numbers are sky rocketing. Active cases have doubled since Thanksgiving to over nine-thousand. That’s up from around 76-hundred last week. The number of COVID patients in the hospital has jumped to over six-hundred.

Governor Justice is sounding the alarm for COVID booster shots as cold weather forces more people indoors, specifically during the busy holiday season. The CDC recommends booster shots for anyone sixteen and older.
