Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a fire in an abandoned home on Charleston’s West Side. Dispatchers said the fire was at a home in the 1200 block of Upper Vine Street and smoke was visible from Interstate 64 on Tuesday. No injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, but there may have been a squatter on the property. The home was a total loss.
