The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office introduced three new probationary deputies during the Kanawha County Commission meeting last week. Deputies Walter Ingram, Anthony Nichols and Hunter Shamblin will be attending the next basic training classes at the West Virginia State Police Academy starting in January. Following the academy, the trio will have a 16-week field training program before officially joining the force.
