Two Face Burglary Charges for St. Albans Church Break-in

Police connected two St. Albans men to a larceny report at a church where damages exceeded $10,000. The incident occurred Saturday morning at the St. Albans Church of the Nazarene on Hansford Street, and St. Albans Police said they arrived on the scene to discover Rocco DeLeonardis of St. Albans fleeing the area. A short time later a second suspect was found nearby and identified as Jacob McComas, also of St. Albans. Police say the two men snipped wires at the church and disassembled an air conditioner unit in order to steal copper. The cost of repairs were estimated to be between $10,000 – $12,000. DeLeonardis and McComas were transported to South Central Regional Jail.
