Argument Over Cigarettes Leads to a Stabbing in Fayette County

An argument between family members over cigarettes led to a stabbing Sunday in Fayette County. Deputies said 25-year old Nathan I. Steele of Victor is accused of stabbing his stepfather during an argument over cigarettes. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office said the father was taken to a hospital with “significant damage” from the stabbing. Steele was charged with felony malicious wounding and misdemeanor brandishing and domestic battery. The incident happened Sunday night along Saturday Road in Victor.
