Charleston Police Investigate Par Mar Robbery

The Charleston Police Department are asking for help in identifying a suspect associated with an armed robbery that occurred early Sunday morning at gas station on West Washington Street. Police said in a news release that an unknown black male entered a Par Mar store shortly after 6 a.m. wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a red and white mask. Investigators say the suspect was wielding a handgun and demanded money from the register. The man left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last spotted running west on Virginia Street, according to police.
