Bear hunters found human remains in a remote part of the Monongahela National Forest in Pendleton County, and the led state police to the site. Personal items and skeletal remain are believed to the remains of Cassie Sheetz, who’s been missing since March. Sheetz was last seen in the parking lot of the Huckleberry Trail head. She was with two men who managed to find their way out, but have been very vague in their explanations of what happened to Cassie. The Medical Examiner’s Office is working to make a positive ID and a cause of death.
