West Virginia’s coronavirus coordinator, Dr. Clay Marsh, says it’s possible the state is near the peak of the omicron surge. He says it looks like cases might be starting to plateau. There are 17-thousand active case of the virus, that’s a slight decline, but hospitalizations are at an all-time high, with over one-thousand patients in the hospital.
