A Fayette County man is accused of stealing a vehicle from the Scarbro area and selling it. 34-year old Terry L. Ellis of Scarbro was charged with grand larceny, receiving and transferring stolen goods and obtaining money under false pretenses following a monthslong investigation. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post that Ellis is accused of stealing a vehicle in December 2021 that was left at a residence while the owners moved out and then selling it. Deputies recently recovered the vehicle in Raleigh County.
