Some students at Huntington High School held a walkout Wednesday morning after some parents and students last week said two classrooms were forced to attend a religious event during homeroom. There was a large turnout of students during the walkout, which was not an official or school-sponsored event. The walkout comes as the Fellowship of Christian athletes invited a ministry to hold a revival in the school that was advertised as a voluntary event A spokesperson told WCHS TV that the school and the students followed the rules, but some teachers made the mistake of making it mandatory.
