A Cabell County grand jury indicted a man on a murder charge in a June 2021 shooting death in Huntington. 20-year old Delron Thacker was indicted in connection with the death of Wendell L. Keith II, whom Huntington police said died after being shot June 21 in the 800 block of 12th Street. Investigators said the two knew each other. Thacker is currently being held in the Western Regional Jail.
