DOH Welcomes Tips on Where the Potholes Are

The West Virginia Division of Highways takes care of 38,000 miles of roads, with more than 85% of those considered rural. The pothole problem is one that never goes away but West Virginia DOH maintenance engineer, Kathy Rushworth, said the DOH follows a new pothole repair process that lasts longer than before. You can let the DOH know about potholes in your area by filling out a Safety with Action Today highway response form. https://dotforms.wv.gov/cra/ The DOH receives about 300 road repair requests a week in district one and there are 30 crews that are out patching potholes on any given day. They fix them as quickly as possible.
