For the first time since 2013 the Capital High School girls basketball team is going to the state basketball tournament. Capital has the #5 seed and will take on #4 Cabell Midland Thursday at 9 pm. Sissonville, Logan, Nitro, and Charleston Catholic also made the state tournament, which will be held Tuesday, March 8 through Saturday, March 12 in Charleston.
