A warehouse at the Hobet Mine site in Boone County caught fire late Saturday night. Firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire on Mud River Road in Danville at about 10:30 p.m. and reported successfully containing the blaze to a single building. Firefighters from Madison, Morrisvale, and Mud River assisted in fighting the fire. No injuries have been reported and the mine is no longer in operation. The fire is under investigation.
