A public meeting is scheduled for West Virginia Department of Transportation officials to provide an update on the Jefferson Road upgrade project in South Charleston. State road officials will be on hand Monday, March 28, to provide a presentation and answer questions about the project, which is expected to see work pick up throughout the spring and summer. The public meeting is set for 4 to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn & Suites at 400 Second Avenue SW in South Charleston. The project includes widening Jefferson Road to five lanes, as well as building a new access road into RHL Boulevard in the Trace Fork shopping center.
