A Clay County man has been charged after investigators said he admitted to shooting his mother and then setting her vehicle on fire. Johnny Dale Rogers II is accused of killing his mother, Darlene Faye Jackson, and then pushing her vehicle over an embankment before setting it on fire Wednesday, according to a criminal complaint filed in Clay County Magistrate Court. He is charged with first-degree murder.
