A man is dead and his wife was hurt in an officer-involved shooting in Doddridge County. Seventy-four-year-old Gary McMilian had a history of confronting neighbors with a gun. When officers arrived to serve a warrant, he was armed, drew his piston and opened fire on the deputies. The officers returned fire, killing McMilian. His wife was standing behind him, and she was hit twice. She’s expected to recover.
