A disturbance call resulted in felony charges for a man accused of choking a woman at a public park in Milton. 60-year old Timothy Lee Townsend was arrested after witnesses reported an altercation turned physical at April Dawn Park, according to a post on the Milton Police Department’s Facebook page. The post said Townsend has been charged with strangulation, unlawful restraint and domestic assault and battery. Townsend was taken to Western Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
