A man who was being sought by the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office on an attempted murder charge was captured in Mingo County. 28-year old Cody Lee Hager was arrested in connection with an incident that occurred in the Avondale area of McDowell County. The sheriff’s office also said is charged with prohibited person in possession of a firearm, malicious wounding and wanton endangerment. Hager was taken to the Southwestern Regional Jail.
