Firefighters rushed to contain a blaze at an apartment complex in Kanawha County Saturday afternoon. Windsong Apartments in Cross Lanes caught fire, but emergency crews were able to contain the flames to a single unit, according to a post on the Nitro Fire Department’s Facebook page. The post indicated smoke and water damage spread to nearby units, but no one was injured.
