The main span of the new Donald M. Legg Memorial Bridge is in place in Nitro. The new bridge over the Kanawha River is five beams wide and over four-hundred feet long. It’s part of a 225-million-dollar project to upgrade I-64 to six lanes from Nitro to the U.S 35 exit.
