No Major Increase in West Virginia’s Maple Syrup Production

The West Virginia Department of Agriculture released data on the state’s maple syrup production and said it’s been steady from year-to-year with no major increase. The average season length this year was 34 days, opening on Feb. 6 and closing on March 12. The wholesale price of maple syrup decreased from 2020 to 2021.
