Pioneer Park Pool has been temporarily closed due to a mechanical issue. The pool, located in East Bank, will be shut down for possibly up to two weeks, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Parks and Recreation Commission. A mechanical pump failure forced the pool closing. Notice will be given once the pool is ready to open.
