The National Weather Service confirms an EF-2 tornado touched down in Hocking and northern Vinton counties earlier this week. The tornado formed near Tar Hollow State Park and tracked east for over five-miles. The most significant damage was along Narrows Road where virtually every tree was snapped or uprooted.
