A driver demolished a sign outside the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston last Saturday, and a statement from the church offered gratitude that the driver did not hit the church itself. The church said it was also grateful that the damage was minimal. The church is located at 1919 Bigley Ave. on Charleston’s West Side.
