Governor Justice says he will call a legislative special session “very soon” to address the state’s abortion law. Justice says the legislature needs to move quickly to amend the law to give absolute clarification. The law dates back to 1882 and can lead to prison sentences of up to 10 years. The ACLU of West Virginia filed a lawsuit seeking to block enforcement of the law.
