The Charleston Sternwheel Regatta was a big success. The 5-day event was back over the 4th of July weekend, after a 14-year absence, and organizers, vendors, and sponsors told WCHS TV that it was a good run and many want to do it again next year. City officials said the Regatta will be making a return next year after this year’s rousing success, although an exact date for the next festival has not been picked.
