The state Treasurer’s Office is boycotting five of America’s largest financial institutions due to a conflict of interest over coal policy. BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo are engaged in boycotts of fossil fuel companies and are no longer eligible to enter into state banking contracts with the Treasurer’s Office.
