Cabell County Drug Investigation Leads to 19 Arrests

A Cabell County man has been sentenced to prison for his role in a multi-state drug trafficking operation. 41-year old Marvin Calvin of Huntington was sentenced to six years and six months in prison. Calvin pleaded guilty to distribution after selling fentanyl and cocaine to confidential informants in 2020. Law enforcement officers also reported finding cocaine during a search of Calvin’s residence. Federal prosecutors said the sentencing is the result of a long-term investigation aimed at breaking up a multi-state drug trafficking organization. An additional 18 defendants connected to the operation have pleaded guilty to selling fentanyl, methamphetamine and other illegal drugs in the Huntington area.
