Kanawha County detectives said a man wanted on an outstanding warrant was arrested after deputies responded to a shooting in Elkview Monday afternoon. The shooting happened on Elk River Road, in Elkview, and deputies found a woman shot in the leg inside the passenger seat of a vehicle. Detectives said they believe the victim was driven to that area of Elk River Road after she was shot. Detectives are investigating the circumstances of the shooting, but said the driver Kondo Omari Johnson, of Detroit, Michigan, was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Clay County.
