Huntington to Gather Input Tonight on Trail Connector Project

Huntington will have two segments of a trail connected soon. The city council this week passed an ordinance that authorizes Mayor Steve Williams to enter into an agreement with the West Virginia Division of Highways to design and build a connection between segments of the Paul Ambrose Trail for Health. The connection along Washington Boulevard that eventually will go all the way from Hal Greer Boulevard to Spring Hill Cemetery. A public hearing is planned for 5 to 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday) at Meadows Elementary School.
