Mother is Charged after Ambert Alert is Issued for Son

A mother has been jailed on child concealment and domestic battery charges following an AMBER Alert and reported abduction. 43-year old Sarah Evelyn Hall of South Charleston was booked Saturday morning at the South Central Regional Jail.
Investigators said the child, 4-year old Carter Fulks was taken from a home on Brounland Road in Alum Creek. They said they believe he was abducted by his mother. The AMBER Alert was canceled after the boy was found. On Thursday, Hall was charged with child neglect after she was accused of holding her child in the middle of a busy Charleston street while she was trying to fight people. Hall had been released on a personal recognizance bond on that charge. Pile said after Hall’s arrest on the child neglect charge, her child was placed in state custody. When she got out of jail, she went and picked up a child from a relative. The child was then entered as missing. The mother says it was all a misunderstanding.
