You will not be allowed into the pig barn at this year’s State Fair. State Agriculture Commissioner Kent Leonhardt says it goes back to last week’s Jackson County Fair where a person came down with swine flu. Health and fair officials are reminding everyone who attends the State Fair, or any county fair, to wash their hands after petting any of the farm animals.
