Pinch Volunteer Fire Department Partners With ‘Bonnie Bus’ Program

The Pinch Volunteer fire department recently announced a partnership with The WVU Cancer Institute and its “Bonnie Bus”. That’s a mobile cancer screening unit, primarily for breast cancer, which visits rural areas to provide screenings to those who may have limited access. Grant funds and donations are available to pay for screening mammograms on Bonnie’s Bus for women without insurance coverage. The Pinch VFD will benefit from sales of breast cancer awareness t-shirts. They’ll donate 50% of profit to the WVU Cancer Institute, which will be used for the “Bonnie Bus” program. There’s more on the Pinchfire Facebook page.
