The state Senate passed a resolution supporting a plan to cut personal property taxes, but didn’t even consider Governor Justice’s plan to cut income tax by ten-percent. Senate leaders say they support a plan for income tax relief, but don’t believe that reducing the average taxpayer’s monthly income tax liability by twenty-dollars will provide any meaningful relief.
