A bill that would split West Virginia’s Department of Health and Human Resources into three departments passed the West Virginia Senate this week. The Senate made no change to the legislation that was passed by the House, and it’s on the desk now of Gov. Jim Justice. The bill splits the DHHR into a Department of Health Facilities, Department of Human Services and a Department of Health. Gov. Jim Justice vetoed a similar split last year.
