A two-vehicle crash involving a police cruiser was reported in Charleston Wednesday evening near the intersection of Randolph Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Charleston police report a driver operating a Jeep ran a red light and struck the cruiser. The officer was taken to a nearby hospital while the driver of the Jeep was treated at the scene and cited for a traffic violation.
