Police identified the suspect who was arrested after a barricade situation at a home Friday on Charleston’s West Side. 31-year old Vance Jamal Davis Jr. was taken into custody following a police standoff at a home on Main Street. Police said Davis was wanted out of Michigan and had active drug warrants. Police went to the home to serve a drug warrant, and the suspect barricaded inside the home. He eventually came out after tear gas was used.
