A Charleston thrift store closes temporarily over bed bug concerns

The Union Mission Thrift Store in Charleston said it had to close its store temporarily and get rid of every piece of clothing on the second floor after a customer reported there may have been bedbugs on a piece of clothing. In a Facebook post on Monday, the store announced a customer on March 2 reported there may have been bedbugs on a piece of clothing. The post said an exterminator treated the building, located in the 700 block of South Park Road. The store reopened on Wednesday.
