A man has to pay millions in restitution for stealing from a Morgantown construction company

A Pennsylvania man who pleaded guilty to stealing $3.5 million from a Morgantown construction company was sentenced to prison this week. Michael D. Allen of Irwin, Pennsylvania pleaded guilty in November to wire fraud and money laundering, according to federal prosecutors and was sentenced to 46 months in prison Tuesday. Allen previously served as manager of Accelerated Construction Services, and admitted to using his position to divert $3.5 million in company funds for his own personal benefit. In addition to serving the prison sentence, Allen must pay $3.5 million in restitution to the company.
