A Detriot man pleaded guilty this week in Cabell County court for possession of fentanyl. Damon Shawn Bailes Jr., also known as “Paper,” allegedly had more than 40 grams of fentanyl that he intended to sell. Bailes was arrested in May 2022 for violating his parole in Huntington and he was found with 76 grams of fentanyl, cash, and a loaded handgun. Bailes is scheduled to be sentenced on June 21.
