The City of Charleston is teaming up with the West Virginia Dept. of Environmental Protection to host city-wide clean-up events in April. The first event April 15 will focus on the areas of the West Side, North Charleston and Bigley Avenue with the supply pickup location at Mary C. Snow Elementary School. The second event on April 29 and will focus on Kanawha City, South Hills, the East End and Downtown with the supply pickup location at the Kanawha City Community Center. The effort is part of the DEP’s Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan’s “Make It Shine” program.
