A West Virginia State Trooper accused of domestic battery and felony strangulation will be in court Monday, March 13. The court appearance for Trooper Joseph Comer was originally scheduled for March 8, but was moved to Monday. There are reports that the original magistrate recused himself from the case due to a conflict of interest. Comer is accused of strangulation and domestic violence during child custody exchanges in a hotel parking lot in Ritchie County in December of last year.
