The Federal Public Health Emergency Program is ending on April 1st and as a result, Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance are coming to a close. The change will affect hundreds of thousands of West Virginians. Multiple groups and organizations came together on Charleston’s West Side to educate the community, telling residents that if they received Medicaid benefits, they will need to reapply to see if they are still eligible.
